CWS Storm Update – Friday, September 30, 2022

As Hurricane conditions impact South Carolina, Capital Waste Services is sharing important service updates for affected areas:

🟢 Columbia, SC

• No residential pickup.
  
• All commercial and roll-off pickups will stop at 12 PM.
  

🟢 Charleston, SC

• CLOSED. Friday pickups were moved to the prior Thursday. Customers were notified by phone and text message.
  
• Yard waste pickups will be postponed until next week and resume on the normal schedule.
  

🟢 Beaufort, SC

• CLOSED. No residential pickup. We are monitoring conditions for a possible Saturday pickup.
  

We encourage everyone to stay safe during the hurricane and thank our customers for their patience as schedules adjust to ensure safety and efficiency.
