At Capital Waste Services, our commitment is always about more than picking up bins,  it’s about empowering strong neighborhoods, supporting local families, and living our motto of “Local Faces, Greener Places.” We’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia’s “A Night in the Emerald City” Annual Fundraiser Gala, held November 14 2025 at Central Energy Complex. 

Why This Partnership Matters

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia provides vital “home-away-from-home” comfort to families whose children are receiving medical care at Columbia-area hospitals. The House offers overnight stays, kitchens, laundry facilities, and community support, all at no cost to the families. 

By sponsoring this gala, we are proud to stand alongside an organization that supports our community’s most vulnerable and aligns with our values of service, respect, and care.

Gala Highlights

• The theme, “A Night in the Emerald City,” brought together business leaders, philanthropists, and community supporters for a wicked elegant evening of live music, gourmet bites, and an exciting live auction that raised thousands to continue helping families in need.
• Our team at Capital Waste Services had the privilege of being present — meeting families, connecting with RMHC staff, and seeing firsthand the difference this organization makes in real lives.
• The energy of the evening was inspiring: every guest understood that their contributions would keep more families close to their children during critical hospital stays.
